The Source Garden is in Transition. The plants that kept our plates and mouths full throughout summer are now in the (metaphorical) hands of a very large family of worms that call our compost bins Home. The garden looks rather bare at the moment, but looks can be decieving. Hiding under that soil is a smorgasbord fo seeds that - given a month or so - should yeild garlic, asian greens, lettuce, beans and brassica's. Our mystery pumpkins (that all came up from the compost) are almost ready for picking and we might just raffle off the Single successful and very beautiful Turks Turban Pumpkin at the Winter Feast.
To scratch into your Diaries. Everyone is welcome to attend our Garden Planning Meeting at 6.00-6.30pm on Monday 16th May at Source. We intend to discuss what we would like to plant and achieve in the garden for the next six months. The next working bee is on the First Saturday of June at ~11am.
